Delta launches recourse financing product

Delta Capital Partners Management has announced the launch of a new venture, Delta Credit Solutions that will offer, among other financial products, recourse financing for claimants, respondents, businesses, law firms and other professional service firms. By combining the credit underwriting process, capacity, and cost of capital of a traditional lender with the flexibility and due-diligence expertise of a litigation funder, Delta believes it will be able to deliver optimal, customized financing solutions. ILFA Names New Chairman, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee

The International Legal Finance Association (ILFA) has announced its new board of directors, its chairman, and the executive committee. Gary Barnett, Executive Director of ILFA, welcomed Neil Purslow, who co-founded Therium, as the new Chairman. Qatar Faces $6 Billion Arbitration Claim Linked To Ruling Family Member

Anglo-Spanish family trust Swifthold Foundation and its backer Delta Capital Partners have initiated a $6 billion international arbitration claim against the Qatari government stemming from a case against a member of the country’s ruling family. To date, the trust has failed to secure compensation through the local courts over a property investment scheme that went sour involving Sheikh Fahd Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Thani and his company Fast Trading Group.
