Omni Bridgeway, with Dentons Australia, is investigating potential claims by property owners who have suffered loss and damage as a result of the construction of the WestConnex tunnel underneath their properties.
WestConnex is a 33-kilometre predominately underground motorway scheme currently under construction in Sydney. The motorway scheme is a joint project of the New South Wales and Australian governments.
Multiple landowners have reported damage to their property as a result of the construction of the WestConnex tunnel. Property damage can occur from tunnelling vibration and changes in soil moisture content and soil settlement, resulting in ground movement underneath the properties.
