Shakespeare Martineau is the latest UK law firm to create its own litigation funding solution for clients.
Through its new ‘FeeManage’ service, clients will be able to access funding and alternative means of financing quickly and easily via one of four routes:
- Conditional Fee Agreements;
- After The Event Insurance;
- Third Party Funding; or
- Damages Based Agreements
These routes can be used as stand alone options or in combination with one another.
The firm will not be partnering exclusively with any funders but will leverage its network of both large and boutique funders and insurers, as well as brokers, to obtain competitive rates and deals.
Clients will be offered a free initial consultation to review options and discuss the suitability of FeeManage. The firm’s internal assessment and diligence of the case and work in crafting a funding solution will be chargeable.
