New Jersey last week adopted new disclosure requirements in relation to litigation funding. The International Legal Finance Association has already expressed its disappointment in the decision, arguing that its passage is entirely unnecessary, inappropriate, contrary to the overwhelming majority of existing case law, and likely to create far more problems than it will solve.
