Apple’s $1.8bn class action trial in UK to begin

A £1.5 billion class action claim against Apple is reported to have commenced before the UK CAT last week. The case, which was first launched in 2022 and is being funded by Vannin Capital, accuses Apple of abusing its market position by charging commissions up to 30% on App Store purchases.
