Atticus Litigation Financing Backs €195M Fox Marble Arbitration Against Kosovo

Funding marks the first major deal for Nick Rowles-Davies–advised fund

Eco Buildings Group PLC has secured full litigation funding from Atticus Litigation Financing to support its subsidiary Fox Marble Ltd in pursuing a €195 million arbitration claim against the Republic of Kosovo, the company announced.

The case, filed before the International Court of Arbitration, concerns alleged substantial losses stemming from what Fox Marble describes as “adverse and improper actions” by Kosovar government agencies. The funding ensures the company is fully resourced to advance the claim as the arbitration panel nomination process gets underway.

The financing represents one of the first major deals for Atticus Litigation Financing, a new fund which became operational in August 2025. The fund is advised by Nick Rowles-Davies, a well-known figure in the litigation funding sector and a veteran of several of its best-known platforms. Rowles-Davies was previously a managing director at Burford Capital, where he oversaw operations outside the Americas and served on the board until 2016. He also co-founded Vannin Capital, one of the first UK-based commercial funders, and was a partner at Bridgehouse Partners.

Fox Marble has retained BSA Law.
