Augusta Ventures announces new promotion

UK-based Augusta Ventures has promoted Simon Latham to Head of Competition. He provides non-recourse finance for both plaintiffs and law firms in the UK and across the the EU and leads the competition and antitrust disputes team. Simon’s been recognized by Who’s Who Legal Thought Leaders: Third-Party Funding 2020, as “a well-known name in litigation funding, where he stands out for his adept handling of high-value competition disputes and group action proceedings.”

Prior to joining Augusta, Simon was a Solicitor at Hausfeld. He acted exclusively for claimants in competition and commercial litigation, often on a funded basis. He also has experience of coordinating litigation on behalf of groups of claimants, as well as managing disputes in other European jurisdictions.

Simon is the current editor of the Third-Party Litigation Funding Law Review. He holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Competition Law from King’s College London.
