Benjamin Chavis Jr. of the National Newspaper Publishers Association takes the position that lawsuit lending disclosure is key to racial justice in New York and across America, arguing that without regulations, funders are able to take advantage of “those who are unbanked or underbanked and lack a financial safety net, which too often is the case for people of color”.
