Big win for Please Call Me’s Nkosana Makate

A South African court rejected litigation funder Black Rock Mining’s urgent bid to freeze 40% of Kenneth Makate’s Please Call Me settlement proceeds, ruling that any funding-related entitlement could be resolved through ordinary proceedings or arbitration and ordering the funder to pay Makate’s legal costs.
