CASL funds class action against International Capital Markets

CASL is funding a class action commenced by Echo Law in the Federal Court of Australia against International Capital Markets Pty Ltd and Andrew Leon Budzinski. The class action, which is brought on behalf of persons who used the online trading platform operated by IC Markets to trade in Contracts For Difference (“CFDs”) and who lost money as a result, alleges the respondents were negligent and engaged in misleading and deceptive and unconscionable conduct in how CFDs were marketed and sold.

This action has been consolidated with a companion claim brought by Piper Alderman.
