Illinois-based law firm Sugar Felsenthal Grais & Helsinger beat a legal malpractice suit, after a federal judge held that no evidence linked the law firm’s conduct to any harm to litigation funder Signal Funding, which had accused the law firm of breaching its duty by also representing a former Signal Funding employee who launched a competing venture in adverse matters.
