Chubb’s Greenberg: Start Questioning the Societal Benefits of Litigation Funding

Chad Hemenway of the Insurance Journal says it’s time to question the benefits of litigation funding, arguing that the vast majority of funded litigation is “against society’s interest” and that legislation is necessary to require disclosure of “whose interests are being served”.
