CJC calls for “urgent” government review of SSB-style funding

The CJC also identified portfolio funding as an urgent matter for the government to investigate, drawing on cases such as SSB Law and Pure Legal to recommend that funders should be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and consideration given to it co-regulating law firms using their money with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
