Counsel Financial: Litigation Finance Bi-Annual

New York-based Counsel Financial has released its bi-annual litigation finance report, saying it originated, underwrote, serviced or monitored 14 litigation finance transactions representing $464 million in committed capital and more than $2 billion in collateral, with alternative asset managers providing 74% of the capital and mass torts and class actions accounting for 76% of the underwritten portfolio.
