Doctor funds Covid vaccine class action

Dr Melissa McCann, an Australian general practitioner, is personally backing a new class action filed against the Australian Government and others on behalf of individuals who are alleged to have received injuries as a result of taking one or more Covid-19 vaccines.

Under the funding agreement, Dr McCann will not receive any percentage of the group members’ compensation beyond the sum required to reimburse her for the legal costs she has borne as funder.
