Edward Lake $20M Takeover Suit: New York Attorney Battles Investors in Explosive Legal Clash

Sylvia Benito, co-founder of Miami-based Justice Partners, has sued New York attorney Edward Lake and the Lake Law Firm, alleging they “effectively ran a Ponzi scheme” that misused more than $15 million in litigation funding provided for mass tort cases.
