EU walks back plan to regulate third-party litigation funding

The European Commission has dropped plans for EU-level regulation of third-party litigation funding after stakeholder feedback indicated no need for new rules, a move welcomed by ILFA as it removes uncertainty for the sector and shifts the Commission’s focus to monitoring the Representative Action Directive.
