Florida to clamp down on litigation funding; Bill to improve transparency in litigation financing advances in House

Regulation of litigation funding in the US has taken a huge step forward with Florida senators voting through a landmark bill which will force greater disclosure about funding agreements and ban funders from directing the course of litigation or recovering more than the parties to the litigation.
