Former Lord Chief cautions against regulation of litigation funding

“Regulation is not a universal success”, a former Lord Chief Justice has cautioned ahead of the Civil Justice Council review of the litigation funding sector, suggesting that perhaps codes of conduct or voluntary arrangements may be more appropriate.
