Founder And Former Ceo Of 777 Partners Pleads Guilty To $500 Million Fraud Scheme

Joshua Wander, founder and former CEO of 777 Partners, has pleaded guilty to wire fraud and securities fraud in connection with a scheme to defraud lenders and investors of more than $500 million, admitting that he pledged fictitious or already-encumbered structured settlement assets, falsified bank statements and diverted restricted financing intended for the firm’s structured settlement business to fund acquisitions of professional soccer teams and other investments, while agreeing to forfeit at least $500 million ahead of sentencing in March 2027.
