Fraud accounted for 15% of English claims in 2025

A new report prepared by Stewarts and Solomonic has found that fraud remains a high litigation risk in England and Wales, with funders such as Erik Bomans, chief executive of Deminor, commenting in the report that fraud disputes accounted for approximately 30% of the funder’s portfolio, with rising trends including cryptocurrency frauds.
