Google agrees £260m settlement of UK app developers’ Play Store claim

Google has agreed to a £260 million settlement of a UK collective action over Play Store commissions, subject to Competition Appeal Tribunal approval, with £160 million earmarked for app developers and £100 million, or 38.5% of the total, allocated to litigation funder Bench Walk, insurers, lawyers and other stakeholder costs.
