Google Lawsuit Funder Nears $1.8 Million Win Against Law Firm

Woodsford is moving closer to winning $1.8 million from Hosie Rice, a law firm it backed in a suit against Google, after US Magistrate Judge Sherry Fallon wrote a recommendation that a federal district court in Delaware should confirm the arbitrator’s $1.8 million award for Woodsford, saying Hosie Rice failed to establish a basis to overturn the award.
