Harbour funds up to £785 million suit against Apple

Harbour Litigation Funding is backing a class action on behalf of UK app developers who claim Apple engaged in anti-competitive conduct by charging commissions as high as 30% on App Store sales.

UK competition policy professor Sean Ennis is leading the claim and said that Apple could be liable for repaying up to £785 million in fees to 13,000 developers. The UK Competition Appeal Tribunal has dismissed Apple’s attempt to block the case, paving the way for the suit to continue.
