High Court strikes out innovative attempt to bring securities litigation class action

The High Court has struck out an innovative attempt to bring a representative action under CPR 19.8, but in so doing made clear that the decision rested on its facts and should not be taken as indicative of the future of representative actions in the securities sphere more generally.
