Industry Veterans Launch Litigation Finance Advisors
New advisory firm dedicated solely to litigation funding

Two well-known figures in the litigation finance market—Rebecca Berrebi and Ted Farrell—have teamed up to launch Litigation Finance Advisors (LFA), an independent advisory firm dedicated solely to litigation funding.
The New York- and Washington, D.C.-based firm will advise plaintiffs, law firms, investors, and funds across the litigation finance lifecycle, from structuring deals to portfolio monetization and secondary transactions. Both founders emphasized that the venture was designed to fill a gap for conflict-free, client-first advice in a market where advisory services are often tied to fund placement.
“We saw the need for a truly independent, strategic advisory partner that understands litigation funding from every angle,” Berrebi said. “Ted and I built LFA to deliver clarity, structure, and real value in an often opaque and complex market.”
Berrebi previously founded Avenue 33 and has advised on nine-figure transactions, as well as led corporate affairs at a global litigation fund. Farrell, a former managing director at Vannin Capital and a practicing litigator before that, has structured financing deals across antitrust, intellectual property, commercial, and mass tort cases. He is also the host of the “All Things Litigation Funding” podcast, a platform that has helped shape industry discussion on dealmaking and disclosure.
“LFA isn’t just about placing capital—it’s about helping clients make informed decisions and unlock the full value of their claims or investments,” Farrell said.
LFA’s services include advisory support for law firms and claimants, insurance-backed funding solutions, strategic guidance for funders and investors, and exit planning through secondary market transactions. The firm operates on a fee-only model, which the founders say ensures alignment with client interests.
