Interim costs slashed and appeal permission refused in latest Brazil dam collapse judgment

The High Court cut a £113.5 million interim costs request in the Brazil dam collapse litigation to £43 million and refused permission to appeal, with Mrs Justice O’Farrell upholding a finding of strict liability against BHP in claims led by Pogust Goodhead over the 2015 Fundão Dam disaster.
