Jones Day signs up former lord chancellor Alex Chalk as a partner in London

Former lord chancellor Alex Chalk has joined US law firm Jones Day as a partner in its disputes practice in London. The former lord chancellor made headlines last March when he attempted to introduce emergency legislation to ensure the enforceability of litigation funding agreements after the Supreme Court’s 2023 ruling in PACCAR.
