King’s Speech fails to address litigation funding

The UK litigation funding sector has been left frustrated after the King’s Speech omitted promised legislation to reverse PACCAR and clarify that LFAs are not DBAs, with ILFA chairman Neil Purslow calling the omission “deeply disappointing”, although David Greene of Edwin Coe says the Ministry of Justice may still seek to add the fix to another suitable justice-related bill.
