King's speech: Litigation funders left in limbo

The eagerly anticipated Arbitration Bill is featured in the ‘extended’ King’s Speech – but key judicial measures were absent from the main event, with no specific mention of litigation funding, although the Crime and Policing Bill, and Victims, Courts and Public Protection Bill – two of 40 bills announced – appear to be wide enough in scope to include it at some point.
