Law Commission releases final report on class actions and litigation funding

Kirsten Massey, Chris Curran, Michelle Mau and Madeline Alison of Russell McVeagh report that the Law Commission of New Zealand has released its final report on class actions and litigation funding, with the commission recommending, among other things, a new Class Actions Act but no formal licensing requirements for litigation funders.
