Law firm at centre of BHP mammoth lawsuit sued by its own funder

Brazilian funder Vinci SPS Capital has sued Pogust Goodhead for more than £84 million over the firm’s handling of proceeds from its BHP group action, alleging it breached funding arrangements by prioritising payments to barristers and ATE insurers and failing to transfer a £42.7 million interim costs payment into a designated receivables account.
