LionFish Releases Updated Suite of Model Litigation Funding Documentation Following the CJC’s Final Report on Litigation Funding

LionFish has released an updated suite of litigation funding documentation following the CJC’s release of its Final Report on Litigation Funding.

LionFish first made its litigation funding documentation publicly available in February 2021 in support of encouraging transparency and robustness of the litigation funding industry, and in aid of the market’s continued growth and credibility. Now, with the CJC Report recommending that a regulatory structure should be developed and informed by ELI Principles 4-12, LionFish’s updated documentation not only accommodates these principles but the broader applicable recommendations made in the CJC Report, save where doing so at present without legislative or procedural changes would impose a material burden on the parties it funds.
