Litigation Finance Firms Spar Over $5.6 Billion Swipe Fee Spoils

Miami-based litigation finance startup CoreStream Capital is suing Managed Care Advisory Group, its partner in a venture to buy legal claims from merchants eligible to partake in a record $5.6 billion settlement, the largest antitrust settlement in history. The lawsuit alleges that Managed Care breached its agreement to connect CoreStream with top clients who may be interested in selling their piece of the settlement.
