Litigation funders ask to join ethics case against law firm barred from collecting fees

The Equal Access Justice Fund and EAJF ESQ Fund, funders which lent a combined $30 million to Texas law firm McClenny, Moseley & Associates, have asked to intervene in the firm’s disciplinary proceedings in Louisiana federal court after a judge barred the firm's attorneys from collecting any proceeds from hundreds of lawsuits it filed over hurricane damage.
