Litigation Funding Empowers 'Please Call Me' Inventor in Legal Battle

Following a protracted legal battle, the South African Supreme Court of Appeal has dismissed telecom giant Vodacom's appeal against 'Please Call Me' creator, Kenneth Nkosana Makate, and ordered Vodacom to pay Makate a compensation package of between 5 and 10% of the total revenue generated by the 'Please Call Me' service over the last 18 years. Litigation funding provided by Sterling Rand Litigation Fund has enabled Makate to withstand the financial strain of the 15-year-long legal confrontation with a corporate behemoth like Vodacom.
