Louisiana Gov. Gets Bill Regulating Lawsuit Funding Business

A Louisiana bill to regulate the litigation finance industry was passed unanimously by the state Senate on Friday and is headed to the governor’s desk for signature after his predecessor vetoed more expansive legislation last year.
