Merricks and funder resume hostilities over settlement “vindication”

Walter Merricks and Innsworth have renewed their dispute after the Competition Appeal Tribunal’s latest ruling on interchange fees, with Merricks claiming the decision vindicates his £200 million settlement with Mastercard while Innsworth pursues judicial review and arbitration over whether the funder’s return properly reflects the risks it assumed in the once £14 billion collective action.
