Montauk Metals collapses into bankruptcy after protracted Colombian expropriation battle

Canadian miner Montauk Metals has entered bankruptcy after failing to secure creditor support for a restructuring, bringing an end to its long battle over the expropriation of its Colombian gold project and its unsuccessful arbitration against Colombia, which was financed by Omni Bridgeway.
