Netflix War for Patent Suit Funder's Records Turns 'Ugly, Nasty'

A federal judge in Virginia said that a litigation funder hasn’t complied with obligations to give Netflix records linked to a California patent suit where the streamer seeks attorneys’ fees. The judge also expressed skepticism that documents in the funder’s possession are privileged, as the funder previously contended, and frustration with its overall production of the records.
