LitFin backs €900+ million claim against Google

LitFin is backing a €900+ million claim against Google filed at the District Court of Amsterdam on behalf of five comparison shopping services who claim they were harmed by Google’s allegedly anticompetitive conduct.
In 2017, the European Commission fined Google €2.4 billion for unfairly promoting its own comparison-shopping service in search results. The current claim argues that Google has failed to effectively stop these practices, continuing to harm smaller players across Europe.
LitFin is working closely with Stek and Geradin Partners in bringing the claim.
