‘This is not a good deal’: Merivale’s $18m class action settlement derailed

Merivale is fighting to hold onto the $18 million settlement made in an underpayment class action lawsuit after hundreds of additional workers unexpectedly joined the claim, and has suggested reducing funder Investor Claim Partners’ commission or legal costs as an alternative to amending the settlement figure.
