NZ files class action suit over defective Toyota utes

A lawyer representing thousands of New Zealand farmers who may be eligible to participate in a class action against Toyota has acknowledged that class actions in New Zealand are relatively rare, but said he was somewhat surprised that legal action had not kicked off sooner in New Zealand considering the success of the case in Australia.
