SA Supreme Court quietly strikes disgraced barrister’s name from roll

The Supreme Court of Victoria has struck a barrister’s name from the roll as a result of his involvement in a case where he and another solicitor on the record incorporated Australian Funding Partners to act as a litigation funder in the case, causing them to have a “financial interest” in the proceedings that went well beyond “any legal fees recoverable”.
