SSB funders sue insurers for £19.5m over ATE policies

Katch Fund Solutions, owed £63 million following SSB Law’s collapse, has launched a £19.5 million claim against ATE insurer Stonefort after taking an assignment from SSB’s administrators, alleging that cover underpinning the firm’s cavity wall litigation funding model failed to provide the expected protection.
