Surviving Aboriginal workers and relatives win $180m settlement from WA government for stolen wages

The Western Australian Government has agreed to pay up to $180.4 million to many thousands of Aboriginal Australians to settle a class action for wages that were not paid while they were subject to legislation in effect from 1936 to 1972. The class plaintiff was represented by Shine Lawyers and the litigation was funded by Litigation Lending. More from ABC News and Litigation Lending.
