TD Bank Canada begins paying settlement money to eligible class action customers

TD Bank has started paying out on a settlement with eligible class action customers over alleged multiple non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees for a single payment or check. The settlement amount of $15.9 million is subject to various deductions, including a class counsel fee, disbursements and a litigation funder fee of $952,935.40.
