Trial begins over collapsed £120m legal financing fund

A trial kicked off in London last week relating to a collapsed £120m legal financing fund. Two solicitors dishonestly funnelled more than £20m of investors’ money from Cayman Islands-registered Axiom Legal Financing Fund into their own pockets before the firm collapsed in 2012, the court has heard. More from Law Gazette.
