Woodsford backs another diesel emissions class action

Woodsford is once again partnering with Australian law firm Piper Alderman to commence a second diesel emissions class action of 2024, this time against Japanese car maker Isuzu Motors.

The class action alleges that Isuzu deployed ‘defeat devices’ in Isuzu D-Max and MU-X sold into Australia, causing the vehicles to emit higher nitrogen oxide pollutants in normal driving conditions than they did during the testing conducted for regulatory approval.

A similar action has already been commenced against Mercedes Benz.
